Some products are determined to be hazardous after being released into the marketplace. If you've registered a product with its manufacturer or one of its dealers, you should be notified (normally via U.S. Mail) if the product is determined to qualify for corrective repair or is recalled. Unfortunately, many homeowners fail to register their purchases and, therefore, are not informed about product-related risks in their home.
